The right to use a gravesite is regulated in accordance with the cemetery statutes and is subject to a fee. The gravesite remains the property of the cemetery operator.

You can apply to the cemetery administration to take over the right to use a grave from another person.

If you wish to erect or alter a gravestone or other structure in a cemetery, you need the permission of the respective cemetery administration.

Every corpse must be buried. Regardless of whether it is buried in the ground, in a cremation, at sea or in a forest.

During cremation, the deceased is cremated with the coffin in a crematorium. The ashes are then buried.
