More than 200 local politicians work in and for our state capital on a voluntary basis. The office of the City Council is where all the organizational threads of the work of the City Council, its committees, the local advisory councils and the advisory councils for senior citizens and the disabled come together.

It supports the city president in his work. At the same time, it takes care of the twinning activities and supports residents, clubs, associations and other organizations in their twinning activities.

The preparation, taking of minutes and the follow-up of all meetings belong to the main tasks of the office of the city council. We also support local politicians in their work.

Local politics must be transparent. Therefore, we will inform the public comprehensively and on a daily basis about the work of the city council in its committees with the citizen information system on the Internet.

Town twinning is a partnership between two towns with the aim of exchanging ideas, especially culturally and economically. We want to contribute to a more intensive development of town twinning and support interested parties in their projects.
