The tasks of the Public Order Department include the detection and prosecution of administrative offenses as well as the registration and deregistration of tradespeople, the registration of fireworks, events and gatherings, the issuing of weapons permits, the enforcement of the Dog Ordinance and the tasks of the Funeral Services, Fisheries, Chimney Sweeping and Home Supervision departments.
