The occupational health service supports the state capital Schwerin in its function as an employer in fulfilling its statutory obligations in occupational health and safety (e.g. in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Occupational Safety Act, Ordinance on Occupational Health Precautions, Occupational Health Rules, Working Hours Act, Driver's License Ordinance).

In accordance with DGUV Regulation 2, we provide comprehensive support in both basic occupational medical care and company-specific care. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, there is close cooperation with the internal occupational health and safety specialist and an ongoing exchange with the staff council. In the performance of occupational medical tasks, the legally stipulated independence in the application of professional expertise and, without exception, medical confidentiality apply.
