Architektenkammer Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

The professional titles "architect", "interior architect", "landscape architect" or "urban planner" may be used by persons who are entered in the list of architects or urban planners of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Chamber of Architects.

Graduates in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, or urban planning may be accepted as junior members upon application if certain requirements are met.

Have you obtained a degree as a landscape architect abroad and gained professional experience? If you would like to practice your profession in Germany, you can apply for registration in the list of architects in your federal state.

Anyone who is entered in the list of fire protection planners maintained by the Chamber of Architects of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is authorized to prepare fire protection certificates in accordance with § 66 LBauO M-V.

The professional titles (landscape/interior) architect, urban planner may only be used in the name or in the company name of a company if the company is registered in the register of companies of the Chamber of Architects of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Have you obtained a degree as an architect abroad and gained professional experience? If you would like to practice your profession in Germany, you can apply for registration in the list of architects in your federal state.

Have you obtained a degree in interior design abroad and gained professional experience? If you would like to practice your profession in Germany, you can apply for registration in the list of architects in your federal state.

Have you obtained a degree as an urban planner abroad and gained professional experience? If you would like to practice your profession in Germany, you can apply for registration in the list of architects or city planners.

If you employ trainees as an employer, you must enter their vocational training in the register of vocational training relationships and, if necessary, update it or have it changed.

As the training provider, you must enter every training contract for a recognized training occupation in the vocational training register and have it deleted in the event of premature termination.

If you want to work as a trainer, you must pass an aptitude test.

Foreign companies may only use the professional titles architect, interior architect, landscape architect and urban planner in their name or in their company if they are authorized to do so.

Before the start of retraining, you as the retraining body must notify the competent body of this measure. In the case of comparable examination certificates, the candidate may be exempted from individual examination components by the competent body.

The chambers promote the implementation of vocational training preparation, vocational training, and vocational retraining by providing guidance to all parties involved.
